session box has to follow selected track

Here's a midi remote script for the Keith McMillen KMIX for Ableton 11.

I would like to modify it so the session box jumps to the selected track. So the session box always has to follow the selected track.

I have tried some solutions, none of them work:

-in ClyphXPro you have a function called RINGLINK that makes the session box follow the selected track. It works fine with other scripts (for example the Launchpad Mini MK3 script) but not with the KMIX script

-Isotonik has a device LaunchSyncXL that can make the session box follow the 'Leader' session box. So in this device you set one script as the 'Leader' and then you can have multiple other scripts session boxes follow the leader session box position. So I set RINGLINK on for the Launchpad Mini MK3 script (so it's session box follows the selected track) and made this the leader script and then I tried to set the KMIX script as a follower, but this also doesn't work. I can make other scripts follow the leader script, just not the KMIX script. It somehow refuses to follow...

So it seems that the KMIX script can only move the session box with commands from 'inside' the script, not from external commands...? or something like that?
There are other scripts that also have this problem:
Touchable (for the Ipad) and Isotonik LaunchControl XXL also have this problem..

Does anybody know how to add this functionality to a midi script so the session box is able to follow the selected track?
