Send MIDI back to the device

Midi Fighter Twister for example could RECEIVE channel 4 CC message to force switch banks. Other than this the only way to switch bank (Twister bank, not CSS "mode") is to configure in MFUtility to the side buttons.

I think the side buttons are hard to press so I would like to press one of the knob to switch bank. However there is no way to send "feedback message" back to the device with CSS. I think it would be great if Reaction has some reaction that sends arbitrary CC to the device. Currently Reactions only could send to the buttons to target their LEDs.

Mode selection based on Track or Device Name

Not sure if this is possible, but would love to have the current mode be auto selected based on the selected track name or device name. This would make workflow so much better.

Had this idea in my mind then the user 5argon posted about it today so I know I'm not the only person thinking of this. Would be a powerful feature!

Thanks!

Hello CSS Team,

Loving the product and making the ideal MIDI Fighter Twister setup. (I started with the excellent and freely available unit in CSS and added the second set of knobs and both LED extensions, I can send that up if you'd like).

Hi all,

CSS is a truly great tool, really is! I've recently purchased it and I love it.

@John Carney: I've read your story behind remotify on the blog, super inspiring! I can perfectly relate to developing something relentlessly and puttting hell of a lot of blood, sweat and tears in it. Good job there, much appreciated! <3

Any chance of more Action we could assign to buttons/knobs?

I am not looking for anything too complicated, it would be nice to have stuff life
- Controlling the playhead in the arranger.
- Toggle Automation-Arm.
- Trigger Quantize.
- Change Grid Size.
- Switch between Arranger and Session view.
- Show/Hide Plugin Window.
- Toggle Clip/Device View.
- Delete (whatever is in focus or selected)

Hello,

does anybody make some CSS for Novation Mini Mk3 and Ableton Live 9.
Device works perfectly with Ableton Live 10, but I have Ableton 10 Lite, and Ableton Live 9 Standard, and realy like it.
Have few my own CSS files, but it's long way to perfect set.

Hi Folks,

I am - since yesterday evening - a proud owner of CSS and I love it!

I spent most of the night clicking my configuration for a "Midiplus SmartPAD" which is a low-budget 8x8 pad controller with 8 rotary encoders and some more buttons.

Hello!
I would like to know if there is any way to change the "Control Surface Studio" location directory. I use it on several computers and I need to move it to the icloud folder in order to use it on any of them.
THANK YOU!
