Script not loaded because of Syntax Error

(Log extract in following post)

Ableton is not recognizing my CSS and shows up an error in the log file, that was not caught by remotify as I would expect it to.

Can you help me understand the cause of the problem?

Change device parameter +/- 1 with buttons not knobs

I'm trying to change the first parameter of the first device of the selected track with buttons and not knobs for a specific purpose of navigating through the chain selector macro (which results in which instrument is played in that track).

One button should increase the "knob" of the chain selector + 1 the other button should decrease it - 1.

I did this setup:

Looper Transport State - LED Feedback

Submitted by neilb on Sat, 05/22/2021 - 19:17

I have an encoder switch that is dedicated to the Looper Multi-transport button. It works great using CSS! What would be even better is if the encoder switch's color LED changed based on the mode the Looper transport is in. For example, the LED is off when there is nothing in the looper buffer, turns red when recording, green when playing, orange when overdubbing, and white when stopped (basically how Ableton displays those states).

I'm guessing that this might be possible using Reactions, or the upcoming Reactions 2, but I've not dived into reactions yet, so I'm unsure.

Change Switch from Momentary to Toggle by Mode

Submitted by neilb on Thu, 05/13/2021 - 02:59

I have a button/switch that works great as momentary on all modes except one... on that one mode it would REALLY be nice if it acted as a toggle instead.

Are there any options for that?

Arm Multiple Tracks + Option txt Arm on Select

I've looked through all of the related posts, but can't find what I'm looking for...

I currently use the Option txt feature to arm track on select and the CSS Highlight Navigation feature to select tracks with my midi controller. Works as advertised. My challenge is that there is a key part of my workflow being blocked in the process...

Remotify Locks midi ports: Option to ignore midi ports?

Without any apparent sequence; sometimes remotify will lock and use the midi ports even though Ableton started first etc
Could an option be put in to stop remotify trying to use midi? (as one surfaces are set up it rarely gets used)?

Newbie Question: "Currently Active Track" possible?

I'm new to CSS and I've done some searching in the forums, but I can't seem to find a direct answer to my question.

Within a script (I'm creating one for DJTT MFT) I must specify a track's number as part of its config. This means if I want to control devices on eight tracks I have to create eight tracks and within those tracks, n-device controls. Do I have that correct?

Map Midi Fighter twister to

I am trying to figure out how to map the middle eight knows of the DJTT MFT to control the macro knobs of a selected track. So far I am able to do that with track one but I can't get it to automatically switch the controls dependent on which track I have selected. If someone could tell me how to accomplish this I would be very appreciative.

Thanks in advance for the help!
