End User Licence Agreement

PLEASE READ THESE LICENCE TERMS CAREFULLY

BY PURCHASING AND/OR USING THE APP, SCRIPT OR CODE, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS DO NOT BUY OR USE THE APP, SCRIPT OR CODE.

Who we are and what this agreement does

We Remotify license you to use:

  • any Remotify-developed application software, including any data supplied with such software (collectively referred to as the “App”), and any updates or supplements to it.
  • Software code, MIDI remote scripts, controller mappings, templates, compatibility files, and any other related material supplied by us (“Scripts”).
  • Software code and any other data generated by the App, Services, Scripts, or by us, whether automatically or manually (“Code”).
  • The service you connect to via the App and the content we provide to you through it (“Service”).

Compatibility & Trademark Notice

Scripts are independently developed third‑party tools designed for compatibility with MIDI controllers and third‑party audio software.

They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ableton AG or any other brand or developer mentioned.

All product names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and compatibility purposes.

Your privacy

We only use any personal data we collect through your use of the App and the Services in the ways set out in our Privacy Policy https://remotify.io/privacy-policy.

Please be aware that internet transmissions are never completely private or secure and that any message or information you send using the App or any Service may be read or intercepted by others, even if there is a special notice that a particular transmission is encrypted.

ABLETON’S TERMS ALSO APPLY

The App and Scripts can be used only in conjunction with Ableton Live© application software https://www.ableton.com/en/live/.

You must have an effective licence to use Ableton Live© and comply with all applicable terms.

Remotify is not responsible for proper functioning of Ableton Live©.

The ways in which you can use the App and Scripts may also be controlled by Ableton AG’s rules and policies: https://www.ableton.com/en/legal/.

System requirements

The app requires a PC or Mac computer.

How you may use the App, Code and Scripts

In return for your agreeing to comply with these terms you may:

  • download and use the App and Scripts on 2 separate devices for your personal purposes only;
  • make up to 1 backup copy for security purposes; and
  • receive and use any free updates or corrections provided by us.

You must be 18 or over to accept these terms and buy the App or Scripts.

Additional Script Usage Terms

All Scripts, mappings, and controller templates supplied by Remotify, including any that are created, generated, exported, modified, or derived through our Application Software, are licensed for individual use only.

They may not be:
– redistributed
– repackaged
– sublicensed
– shared
– modified and then distributed in any form
– used to create commercial preset/mapping packs for resale without written permission from Remotify.

Licence restrictions

You agree that you will not:

  • rent, lease, sub‑license, loan, provide, or otherwise make available the App, Services, Scripts or Code in any form without written consent from us;
  • copy, translate, merge, modify or adapt the App, Scripts or Code except for backup/security purposes;
  • reverse engineer, disassemble or create derivative works based on the App, Scripts or Code except where legally permitted;
  • use the App or Scripts in any unlawful manner;
  • distribute the App, Scripts or Code.

Intellectual property rights

All intellectual property rights in the App, Scripts, Services and Code belong to Remotify (or our licensors). You have no rights other than to use them in accordance with this agreement.

Disclaimer of warranty and liability

The App, Scripts, Code and Services are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remotify disclaims all liability for direct, indirect or consequential damages including business interruption or loss of data.

Use of the App and Scripts is at your own risk.

Digital Sales & Refunds

All digital sales are final unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted at Remotify’s discretion provided one or more of the following conditions are met (conditions marked with an asterisk (*) are required in all cases):

  • Your payment account was used illegally (fraud).
  • The downloadable file has not been accessed or downloaded. *
  • A verified technical issue prevents the App or Script from functioning as described, and our support team is unable to resolve it.
  • The product does not function as described on the Remotify website.

Non‑Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • Change of mind.
  • Incompatibility arising from failure to check system requirements prior to purchase.
  • Unauthorized use, sharing, redistribution or sublicensing of Scripts.
  • Use of the App or Scripts contrary to this licence agreement.

Refund Process

To initiate a refund request, please contact our support team via https://remotify.io/contact and provide:

  • your order details
  • a description of the issue
  • screenshots or additional information if requested

Our team will review your request and may ask for troubleshooting cooperation. If approved, refunds are processed within 1–7 business days to the original payment method.

All refunds remain at the sole discretion of Remotify.

Refunds, where granted, will be processed minus any non-refundable transaction fees retained by the payment processor during the initial payment (including but not limited to PayPal, Stripe, or other merchant providers).

Ending your rights to use the App and Scripts

Remotify may terminate rights for breach of terms. Upon termination, all usage must cease and all copies deleted.

Which laws apply to this contract

This agreement is governed by English law and legal proceedings may be brought in the UK as outlined in the original terms.
