Precision Mode Possible?

Hi,

Does someone know if it is possible to have a finer resolution for device parameters?

When I look at the Min/Max values from, let’s say rack-macros, I see that they go from 0.0 - 127.0

To it would be great to have a finer resolution for these parameters. 0.1 for example.

On Push (1&2) I could do this by pressing SHIFT.
Push 2 has 14 bit encoders. I am not sure about Push 1.
But I also don’t know if you need 14 bit encoders to do this.

World be great if would share a thought on this

Cheers

You can set the range to lower than the full range.
So turning a knob from its min 0 to max 127 could be set to adjust a param by a smaller amount than the param's own min / max, which would give you a more fine control.

The 'Parameter' mapping type for example, has minimum and maximum options which you can use for this.
