Max volume on a track

If you hard-map a volume fader directly in Ableton Live, you can set the volume ceiling to 0dB. At the moment I put a -6dB utility on each track to prevent distortion when I use a remote script. Is it actually possible to limit the volume via a remote script, and could this feature possibly be added in the future?

It would be nice to just check a box that limits the volume to max 0dB.

Thanks in advance!

Its not possible at the moment but is currently being developed and will be available soon.

Thanks for the follow up! :-)

Side note: I found out that in the editor app of my Livid DS1 I can limit the velocity output of every fader. So for me personally it's kind of solved. Instead of every fader outputting 127 at max, they now all output 108 which translates to 0dB in Ableton.
